RhythLoop
🔊 Audio required:
Please wear headphones or turn on your sound. This game is built on rhythm, and you’ll need to hear it to feel it.
🎶 Rhythm, in loops:
In traditional notation, rhythm is mapped linearly on a bar, marching steadily from left to right.
But rhythm isn’t only a linear experience—it can also be cyclical.
Inspired by alternative rhythm visualizations like John Varney’s wheel method, this game treats each musical bar as a loop: a rotating circle of evenly spaced beats.
Each beat becomes a point on the loop, forming a living, pulsing visual pattern that mirrors the physical sensation of rhythm—repetitive, circular, immersive.
As the loop turns, you interact with beats in real time, activating or silencing them to create new patterns.
Discover rhythm not just as a measure, but as a motion.
